Traveling with kids is an experience in and of itself. Oftentimes, when we embark on a trip with children (no matter how long or short the trip may be), we return more tired than when we left. I always tell my husband that I need a vacation from the vacation. And I’m not joking!
We do it for the memories
that will last a lifetime
One of my favorite traveling families on Instagram, Like Miljian, recently published a post that underlined how tiring, yet incredibly rewarding, traveling with kids can be. We don’t travel with our little ones to take a break from everyday life. Quite the opposite, in fact. We travel with our children for the memories; to create wonderful, meaningful memories that will last a lifetime. Sure, we might return more tired than when we left, but the experiences that we lived while traveling are what keep us going.
In this section of my blog I talk about the countries and cities we visited with our children, and give some tips on where to stay and what to do when you have little ones in tow. Though journeying with kids can seem daunting, it really is the best experience in the world.
